Christmas vacation 2009....California!!!

Well howdy folks, sorry it's been a while. Here's a few pics from our trip to California. We flew in to LA, via Phoenix, AZ and spent a few days doing the Hollywood scene, Santa Monica Blvd, Beverley Hills, Universal Studios etc.

We then drove up Pacific Highway 1 (stunning), stopping over at a motel in the middle of nowhere, before carrying on to San Francisco! What a city.

We did the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz etc, etc. I thought San Fran is one of the best cities I've ever been to....

Well, we're off skiing again in two weeks. No doubt we'll have some more pics then. This time we go for five days, back to Vail, CO. Black slopes here I come....not!

Grand Canyon and Sedona - November 2009

We had a great time in Arizona a couple of weeks ago. Now I know why Sedona is regarded as the prettiest town on the planet....even the sidewalks are a dyed red!

The Grand Canyon really is a sight to behold and a place where you can't help contemplating your little purpose on this vast mortal coil....

I even had time for a quick pic at the same place where the King (Elvis, not Larry) shot some scenes from one of his deep dramatic movies....check it out!!!
